City of Angels!
With our shared vision, dedication, and expertise, we are confident in elevating City of Angels to new heights and establishing it as California’s premier dance event.
Valerie is a Californian who is adventurous, driven with a passion for West Coast Swing for over 20 years. Her passion for the dance, the instructors, the dancers, the music and the community is what inspired her to become the event director for City of Angels.
From her first walk – walk – triple step Valerie recognized the future of WCS was with the largest group of dancers, the beginner, newcomer, and novice levels. By bringing them together with the higher-level dancers as leaders and mentors, they would be inspired to excel. Keeping the life blood of West Coast Swing flourishing. This is the vision and goal for COA.
Her core focus is a place to meet, learn, teach and promote West Coast Swing and ultimately to have a great time!
