A Message From Your Event Director

Hello City of Angels’ Angels,

Welcome to the City of Angels 2025 Team. First thing, thank you for being a part of City of Angels this year. I’m so excited you will be here and am looking forward to a great event.

We put this page together as a place for all the necessary team details and to have the weekend run smoothly. Please refer here for updates, to get your questions answered and to be aware of updates throughout the weekend.

Jennifer and Billy are serving as our Onsite Event Coordinators to assist with any needs or issues that may arise. I am also available to you all weekend so please don’t hesitate to just ask if you need something.

Important Housekeeping:

  • There is a free shuttle from LAX to the Sheraton Gateway Hotel. You catch the shuttle from the second level at LAX. They run every 15-30 minutes.
  • For staff that are driving, there is either a Valet Parking or Self-Parking Voucher for you. When you pull up to the front of the hotel, staff will have a list for valet parking. If you have a Self-Parking Voucher, hotel staff will have that voucher for you and can direct you to the ‘on-site’ self-parking behind the hotel.
  • Please fill out the 1099 Misc that was sent to you via Quickbooks. We need this filled before you arrive and in exchange for your check, weekend wristband and food vouchers.
  • Make sure to familiarize yourself with our code of conduct and that you conduct yourself according to the standards outlined there. The link is  provided above.
  • Please Read the Conflict-of-Interest Memo and notify us if you have any conflicts with judging. The link is provided above.
  • Please also review the schedules so you know when and where you need to be for your workshops, competitions and judging assignments. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled event.
  • The Instructors Workshop schedule is listed above in the page buttons. All other schedules: Full Weekend; Workshop; Competition, are available on the general website.
  • Champions and All Stars need to register at https://cityofangels-2025.triplestepevents.com/ for Friday’s Strictly and Saturday’s Jack & Jill.
  • There is a third competition on Sunday. The Champion/All Star J&J competition, the top five winners of the Saturday Champion and All-Star J&Js are automatically entered into that competition. You do not need to register.
  • Please also be aware of the $400 ‘Make My Day’ Award, which will be awarded Sunday night. This is an award for the instructor that is voted by the participants as the Professional that made the event memorable or special for them. So please be visible and available for dancing with the attendees. This will go a long way toward “making their day”.
